Hotel Plaza Nueva

Great base for a stay in Granada, right on the main plaza. You’ll be surrounded by plenty of shops & options to eat. Plenty of public transport. Granada Cathedral is 2 minutes walk. I took a taxi up to The Alhambra for less than 5 euros. Most importantly, Clean & safe for a solo traveler.

We arrived via the Alhambra bus, which dropped us off right across the plaza from the hotel. We booked the family room, which was *huge* by European standards and also comes with a small outdoor patio space. It was the only room on the floor, so it was also very quiet and private, which we liked. The room was very clean, the hotel staff friendly, and the optional continental breakfast was a nice, inexpensive and convenient option. We only spent one night in the hotel - I wish it could have been for longer - but it was a perfect stay for us. Thank you!

This hotel has the superb location, but not only that, it offers a car parking (upon prior reservation, 20€ per day), the hotel staff are super helpful and friendly, it's clean, comfortable and if you like to have your breakfast at the hotel, it offers one, which was fairly good and supplied our needs. I don't understand how come it is rated 1*. Personally, never do I stay at 1* hotels, but considering the location and the superb reviews, I decided to go for it and I that was a great bet. Thank you, Hotel Plaza Nueva's staff for making our stay in Granada great!

The hotel is at an amazing location, central to the old part of the city. We were able to walk to all tourist spots, including to Alhambra Palace. There were many bars and restaurants as well as a Churros place for breakfast and a small convenience store nearby. There is a Restaurant right next door that is the hotel breakfast place in the morning, but at night they become a normal restaurant, and they are amazing. needs booking advance if you want to make sure you get seats. The Hotel is dated, but it was kept very clean. Kettle, instant coffee/tea available in the room.

The view from the room was fantastic, the Plaza Nueva and the Alhambra on the hill. The path to the Alhambra was opposite the hotel. There were bars and restaurants and the Albayzin District steps away from the hotel. The staff were very helpful. Free coffee in reception. The ability to drive and park at the hotel was a bonus and the instructions easy to follow. We had a fabulous stay.
